Blog #1 Introduction

Hello, my name is Casey Long. I am taking Women's Studies this semester to learn more about what impacts women have made in the world. What hardships have women have faced? Did women like staying at home living playing the sterotypical role that women play in society? How were they treated by other people? Who is responsible for allowing women to vote and what did they go through to achieve it? If one of these historical women figures were alive today what would they think of how our society views women today? These are 5 questions I would like to answer for myself this semester.
